My baby's two and other news

So yesterday and today were/are huge for us. First off today is Spencer's birthday. *sniff* my baby's two years old!! Who says raccoons aren't cute?

Megan got accepted into the Montessori program here to begin in the fall. There was a lottery and 8 openings. She got in!! Yeah!! *sniff* my baby's going to school.... maybe if mommy lets her and is able to part with her. *sniff*.

We got new bikes! The kids did anyway, I think after our vacation is saved up for we will save for bikes for the fam. BTW bikes are onsale at kmart.com both the 12 inchers and 20 inchers for $19.95. Very cute! Both were too big for Spencer so he got a vintage Radio Flyer tricycle. I wanted to splurge and get him the retro schwinn one at costco. com but hey he's 2 and doesn't need a $70 tricycle. His is plenty cute and for some reason less expensive than a plastic, yes plastic hot wheels car. This is the one he got. He LOVES it! Refuses to pedal but hey you can only ask so much from a kid. He like it though when mommy pushes him from behind. Which is fun for mommy too because she gets to "ride" along with him on the cool step. Old fashioned toys are the best! This thing is huge by the way. We lowered the seat all the way and while sitting on it Spencer can barely reach the ground or the pedals. But hey he'll grow and he likes pushing it with his feet while sitting on it.
