4th of July

So did I mention I live in the coolest place in the world? bytheway for the 4th we bar-b-qed then went out to our street, yes just 50 short paces down the way and we were able to watch the fireworks over the Washington Monument while listening to the orechestra being blasted by our neighbors. It was awesome because EVERYONE from our neighborhood made it out to the hill so there were tons of people oohhing and aaahhhing as they went up. The cars that would drive by would have to weave around people. It was also fun to see some people coming down the street (it's kind of a main thouroughfare) see the fireworks, slam on their brakes, pull a hard left onto our street, park (illegally mind) and come out to see the fireworks from our position. It was a lot of fun.
