So Kitchen aid mixers apparently have an automatic shut off switch when they get too hot. Kev, went and tried it again and it works. Halleluia, I was not looking forward to the phone call. "Um, yeah, so my KA isn't working." "What's your product number" "I don't know but we bought it at macy's in April" "Are you registered?" "I don't know." "Do you have a receipt?" "UM No." Yeah thank goodness Kev turned it back on. After the whole smoke coming out of it thing I wasn't about to go near it. :-D
