Peaches

Yesterday a couple of girl friends, their kids and I went peach picking. It was so much fun! We had to drive through Potomack to get there. If you are not from here well, Potomack is POTOMACK. This is a city where mansions are MANSIONS. You know the mansions that you see on the TV with their celebrities in them. It was actually pretty fun to drive to the farm we were going to only to see the mansions on either side of the road the entire way there. It was pretty cool. The peach picking was fun too. The kids loved it. Imagine George of the jungle swinging on a vine but then have George be my 3 year old daughter and the vine being a peach hanging on a branch. It was Megan's desired way of picking peaches, swinging on them to get them off the tree. It was pretty stinking cute. Melissa, one of my friends spent the whole time removing peach pits from the boxes. Her daughter thought it was pretty fun to fill the box up with peach pits (she's only 1). I kept having to remove the peaches E put in the boxes. He kept picking up the ones off the ground (gross). Hee hee. Spencer decided that he was only there for slave labor and decided he was having none of it so started throwing the peaches across the way. Yep, an overall successful trip. Needless to say we came out with a TON of peaches... only to have 1/4 of them left (Kevin took them to his co-workers). I'm ok with that because I've decided we're doing it again on Friday, with Kevin. The drive was fun, the picking was fun and they all came home and ALL 4 KIDS FELL ASLEEP AT THE SAME TIME!!! Totally worth the trip.

I absolutely love it! By far the most fun we've had in a bit.
